1. Who we are

An Lạc Hạnh is a small, volunteer-run Vietnamese Buddhist association based at 80 Cyprus St, Lalor VIC 3075, registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). You can reach us at any time at info@anlachanh.org.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us, typically when you:

• email us or send an enquiry through this website (your name, contact details and message);
• request welfare support (shared confidentially with the volunteers who respond);
• register for a retreat, ceremony or study circle;
• make a donation (your name and transfer reference, so we can receipt and thank you);
• volunteer with us.

Our website forms open your own email application — the information you enter is sent by you, directly to us, as an ordinary email. This website itself does not store form submissions in a database.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry or request for support;
• To organise events, retreats and programs you join;
• To issue donation receipts and keep records required by law;
• To send event notices you have asked to receive.

We never sell, rent or trade personal information. Welfare requests are treated as strictly confidential within our volunteer team.

4. Disclosure

We do not share your information with third parties except where required by law (for example, ACNC or ATO reporting), or where you ask us to — for instance, referring you to a support service with your consent.

5. Storage and security

Information you send us is held in our email account and the association's administrative records, with access limited to the volunteers who need it. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

6. Cookies and analytics

This is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies, does not use tracking pixels and does not run third-party analytics. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which may record standard web server logs such as your IP address when font files are fetched.

7. Access and correction

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@anlachanh.org. We will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached your privacy, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
